Parviz Jalayer (Persian: پرویز جلایر‎; 6 October 1939 – 6 July 2019) was an Iranian weightlifter. He was born in Tehran. He competed at the 1964 and 1968 Summer Olympics, winning silver medal in 1968.[1] In 1966, he won a gold medal at the Asian Games and a bronze at the World Championships. After retiring from competitions, he worked as a weightlifting coach.

Jalayer died on 6 July 2019, at the age of 79.[2]
