ऊरुः अपि शरीरस्य किञ्चन अङ्गम् अस्ति । ऊरुः पादस्य एव कश्चन भागः इति वदति शरीररचनाशास्त्रम् । पादस्य उपरितनभागः ऊरुः इति उच्यते । ऊरुः आङ्ग्लभाषायां Thigh इति उच्यते ।
