Lover is the seventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. It is set to be released on August 23, 2019, by Republic Records and Taylor Swift Productions. The first single, "Me!", was released on April 26, 2019. Swift revealed the album's name and release date via Instagram on June 13, 2019. She also announced the second single "You Need to Calm Down", released June 14, 2019. The first promotional single "The Archer", released on July 23, 2019, followed by the title track ("Lover") on August 16.[1][2][3]
