Alija Izetbegović
Bosnian politician, lawyer, philosopher and author (1925–2003)
Alija Izetbegović (Serbian Cyrillic: Алија Изетбеговић, pronounced [Алија Изетбеговић]; August 8,1925 – October 19,2003) was a Bosnian politician, lawyer, philosopher and author. He became the first president of the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1992. He had one son, Bakir Izetbegović.
