Thucydides

5th-century BC Athenian historian and general

Thucydides (/θjˈsɪdɪdz/; Greek: Θουκυδίδης; born around 460 BC, died around 400 BC) was an ancient Greek historian best remembered for his work on the Peloponnesian War. He was the son of Olorus.[1]
