അകാൻ ഭാഷ
അകാൻ ഭാഷ ആഫ്രിക്കയിലെ ഘാന രാജ്യത്തെ അകാൻ ജനത സംസാരിക്കുന്ന പ്രധാന പ്രാദേശിക ഭാഷയാണ്. ആ രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ദക്ഷിണ പകുതിയിൽ ആണ് ഈ ഭാഷ കൂടുതലായി ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. ഘാനയിലെ 58% പേർ സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ഭാഷ, ഐവറികോസ്റ്റിൽ 30% പേരുടെ ഭാഷയാണ്.

മൂന്നുതരം ഭാഷാഭെദങ്ങൾ അംഗീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. അസാന്റെ, അക്വാപ്പെം, ഫാന്റെ എന്നിവയാണവ. (അസാന്റെ, അക്വാപ്പെം, എന്നിവ ഒന്നിച്ച് ട്വി എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്നു.) എന്നൽ ഇവ പരസ്പരം മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ കഴിയുമെങ്കിലും എഴുതുമ്പോൾ പരസ്പരം ഗ്രഹിക്കാൻ പ്രയാസമുണ്ട്.
