Tasnia ya muziki

Tasnia ya muziki ni neno/maneno linalotaja mjumuisho wa makampuni na watu binafsi ambao wanajipatia fedha kwa kutunga nyimbo mpya na mengineyo, kuuza maonesho mubashara (live shows), rekodi za sauti na video, tunzi mbalimbali za muziki, na jumuia na mashirika mengine ambayo yanawakilisha watungaji/waumbaji wa kazi za sanaa.

Miongoni mwa watu binafsi na mashirika mengine ambayo yanajishughulisha na tasnia hii ni pamoja na: watunzi wa nyimbo na watunzi ambao wanatunga nyimbo mpya na ala za muziki; waimbaji, wanamuziki, waelekezaji na viongozi wa bendi wanaotumbuiza katika muziki; makampuni na wataalamu ambao wanatunga na kuuza rekodi za muziki na shiti za muziki (yaani, wachapishaji wa shiti za muziki, watayarishaji wa rekodi, studio za kurekodi, wahandisi, lebo za rekodi, maduka ya rejareja na yale yanayouza mtandaoni, mashirika ya haki za utumbuizaji); na hizo ambazo zinasaidia kupanga na kuwakilisha utumbuizaji wa muziki wa laivu na uhandisi wa sauti, mawakala wa watu wenye vipaji, mapromota, kumbi za muziki).

Tasnia vilevile inahusisha wataalamu wanaowasaidia waimbaji na wanamuziki katika kazi zao za muziki - hawa wanaitwa mameneja vipaji, mameneja wa wasanii na habari, mameneja biasha, wanasheria wa masuala ya burudani na hao wanaorusha muziki wa sauti au video kama vile redio za satilaiti, redio za intaneti, matangazo ya redio na televisheni); vilevile waandishi wa habari za muziki na watahakiki wa muziki; Ma-DJ; walimu na wakufunzi wa miziki mbalimbali; waandaji wa midundo mitupu ya muziki yaani musical instrument; na wengine wengi.
