نیپال زلزلہ 2015

نیپال میں 25 اپریل 2015ء کو 7.8 کی شدت کا زلزلہ جس سے کثیر عمارات تباہ اور جانی نقصان ہوا ہے۔ امدادی کارروائیاں جاری ہیں۔ زلزلہ میں کئی اہم قدیم تاریخی مندر و دیکر عمارات بھی تباہ ہوئیں۔[7]70300 سے زائد اموات 14000 سے زیادہ زخمیوں کی تصدیق ہو چکی ہے۔ زلزلے کے جھٹکے چین، بھارت، بنگلہ دیشں، پاکستان میں بھی محسوس کیے گئے۔ نیپال کے ساتھ ساتھ چین، بھارت اور بنگلہ دیش میں بھی کل 107 افراد کی ہلاکت کی تصدیق ہو چکی ہے۔زلزلے سے ماؤنٹ ایورسٹ پر برفانی طوفان آ گيا جس سے 19 افراد کی ہلاکت کی تصدیق ہو چکی ہے۔گذشتہ 80 سالوں میں نیپال میں آنے والا یہ شدید ترین زلزلہ ہے اور اسے ماؤنٹ ایورسٹ کی تاریخ کا سب سے بڑا سانحہ قرار دیا جا رہا ہے۔[8]بھارب، نیپال اور ماؤنٹ یورسٹ پر موجود مرنے والوں میں فرانس، آسٹریلیا، امریکا، جاپان، اسٹونیا کے بھی دس افراد شامل ہیں۔

2021 افراد کی ہلاکت کی تصدیق ہو چکی ہے، 6400 سے زائد زخمی ہیں، ہلاک ہونے والوں میں 700 افراد صرف کٹھمنڈو میں مرے ہیں، سی این این کے مطابق عمارتیں گری ہیں اور شاہرائیں تباہ ہو گیئں ہیں۔زلزلے سے ماؤنٹ ایورسٹ پر برف کا طوفان آ گیا جس سے 17 افراد ہلاک ہوئے۔[35] ایورسٹ سے زلزلہ کا مرکزصرف 220 کلومیٹر (140 میل) دور تھا۔ اسے ماؤنٹ ایورسٹ کی تاریخ کا بدترین سانحہ کہا جا رہا ہے۔یونیسکو عالمی ثقافتی ورثہ کھٹمنڈو کے مطابق کھٹمنڈو دربار چوک مبینہ طور پر گر گیا ہے۔[36] زلزلے سے متاثرہ ہزاروں افراد نے پوری رات سخت سرد موسم میں کھلے آسمان تلے بسر کی۔ اس خدشتے کا اظہار کیا جا رہا ہے کہ اب بھی ملبے تلے بہت سے لوگ پھنسے ہوئے ہیں جنھیں نکالنے کی کوشش کی جا رہی ہے۔زلزلے سے بنگلہ دیش، بھارت اور چین میں تبت کے علاقے کے لوگ بھی متاثرہ ہوئے ہیں۔ بھارت کی شمالی ریاستوں میں ہلاک شدگان کی تعداد 72 ہو چکی ہے۔

  • برطانیہ نے امدادی اہلکاروں پر مشتمل آٹھ افراد کی ٹیم بھجوانے کا اعلان کیا ہے۔
