Charadriiformes

Charadriiformes adalah satu order burung pelbagai yang bersaiz sederhana besar. Ia merangkumi 350 spesies dan ahli berasal dari seluruh dunia. Kebanyakan Charadriiformes tinggal berdekatan dengan sumber air dan makan invertebrata atau haiwan kecil; Walau bagaimanapun, terdapat beberapa speseis adalahdari jenis pelagik (burung laut), beberapa mendiami kawasan gurun dan beberapa jenis boleh didapati di hutan tebal.
