కాశ్మీరీ (कॉशुर, کٲشُر కాషుర్) ఒక దార్దీ భాష, ప్రధానంగా భారతదేశం లోని జమ్మూ కాశ్మీరు రాష్ట్రంలోని కాశ్మీరు లోయప్రాంతంలో మాట్లాడబడుచున్నది.^[5][6][7] ఈభాషను మాట్లాడేవారు దాదాపు 7,147,587 మంది గలరు: ఇందులో 6,797,587^[8] మంది భారతదేశంలోనూ, 353,064^[9] మంది పాకిస్తాన్ లోనూ గలరు.^[1] ఈ భాష ఇండో-యూరోపియన్ కుటుంబానికి చెందిన ఇండో-ఆర్యన్ భాషలుకు చెందింది. భౌగోళికపరంగా దీనిని ఉప-వర్గం దార్దీ భాష ల క్రమంలోనూ ఉంది.^[10] భారతదేశపు 23 అధికారికభాషలలో కాశ్మీరీ కూడా ఒకటి.^[11]
